On July 1, a new addition is being added to the Boston food truck scene. “You caught us!” Chef Michael’s posted on Facebook. “The cat—no, wait: the DOG—is out of the bag! We’re bringing the Chef Michael’s…to Boston.” That’s right — a mobile eatery for your pets! For those who aren’t familiar with the brand, Chef Michael’s is custom pet food division of Purina.

The food truck will be parked at the SoWa Open Market from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will offer “lunch” to people’s pets, and food will be available for dog owners as well. Pet-inspired activities will also take place at the food truck, and samples of new Chef Michael’s “Carvery Creations” will be offered, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.
