Boston, MA – November 28, 2011 – On November 28, getta!Table, a Facebook-only restaurant deal platform launched in Chicago, Boston and Denver.
getta!Table differs from existing online-deal models by allowing merchants run deals directly on their Facebook fan pages. This enables restaurants of any size to increase traffic without the risk of coupons compromising their revenue models. Merchants have had trouble with other online-deal sites like Groupon, most notably a British Bakery that sold 8,500 cupcake orders, a request far above their production capability. This resulted in the bakery losing £2.50 on each order.
